    Good Points

    It's genuinely free, and actively encourages you to participate. You're also kept abreast of new matches and who has been viewing your profile.


    Bad Points

    Heavy emphasis on photos; the same narrow-minded and shallow people you find anywhere else; generally low-quality existing profiles.


    General Comments

    I actually enjoy using Free Dating. There really are no hidden catches, it's free to join and message people, and a lot friendlier than some other sites.

    As you browse through the site, you're actively encouraged to send people messages (by way of an ever-changing list of people online). You're also encouraged to view people, whom you'd never have considered according to criteria, and the search facility lets you be as strict or as lenient as you want.

    However it isn't perfect; there is a lot of judging by photos (despite their template profiles), and the site heavily encourages you to post a photo of yourself. I usually have far more success without a photo than with one. The good news is you can check where your messages are going, and find out who you're wasting your time with. So, by all means, join FreeDating.co.uk. But please, be more creative!

      I don't understand what this guy means when he says you can see where your messages are going, because it doesn't give you a sent messages folder on the Free Dating site, so you don't even know if you sent anyone a message or what the contents were. But as it's free, you can't be too choosy hey?
