It never breaks, holds a huge family load, looks good, holds its value very well. I have ploughed over 30,000 miles in this car in 20 months and it drives like a dream. Honda is excellent at servicing, polite, informative, attentive, and at the cost they quote, which is about £200 per 12,500 mile service, so my CRV has had 3 already!
It's not bad but the fuel consumption at 31 MPG is not as good a diesel. Could be faster in acceleration, but in general, the 2L engine pulls well. Oh, and it rolls a bit, because of its height off the the road, but so do all the other SUV's.
This is the second Honda CRV Sport 2L on the trot that I have owned, the first being the original model. It's an excellent car all-around and is easily driven by small to large, male or female. Despite being very big inside, it drives like a car but you have to allow for the slower acceleration. I would recommend the current model to anyone, apart from people who dislike Japanese cars, but then, they are probably going to put up with a much less reliable European car just because of the origin. Happy driving.
