Phone banking is expensive and doesn't work. The website has never worked. They only send statements quarterly, and charge £5 per statement if you want one more regularly.
I've paid about £10k over 2 years into my Halifax Student Current Account, and I have not received a penny in interest. The minute I went £15 in the red, they charged me £39. It is now illegal for banks to charge more than £12 unauthorised overdraft fee.
