Good Points

The laptop is a good lightweight machine, with plenty of up-to-date software. The size is compact, and the screen is clear. It comes with a nice size hard disk, and plenty of USB ports for all the day to day peripherals.


Bad Points

It's battery life is not very good, and unfourtantly the only way to expand it is to cope with a dark screen. It is prone to crashing, and the casing scratches easily.


General Comments

Overall, the Advent 7081 is a good laptop. It is easy to use, compact and mobile. Take out a cover plan though, as it can sometimes go wrong, and it's not a popular manufacturer. Nonetheless, it is a good buy, especially as a first laptop for a son or daughter.
