Good Points

Quick acceleration, thrilling handling, great sound with good exhaust.

Bad Points

Very smokey, could do with an engine rebuild, all xsi's have a high mileage, a shame.

General Comments

I'm pleased with the performance of my Peugeot 106 1.4 XSi, even after it's clocked up 106,000 miles, burnt off a 1.8 Ford Focus. In the garage at the moment and I can't wait to get it back! Definitely go buy one but take someone who knows a lot about cars. I bought it for £800 and have spent £500 on it to get it in mint excellent condition. It's a dream car!

I agree. My Peugeot 106 XSi is the fastest car I can insure. It's red, and it's been lowered 50mm all round. It's got a piper-cross induction kit. It's de-cat and just had a head skimm. It cost me 800. I've spent 1500 on it, and it's the fastest car in my age group (due to insurance). I would advise you look closely, as they all have high mileage, and many are past MOT standard. If possible find a mint, low mileage version and buy it. I strongly urge you, as this car is the most fun, driver focused car I have driven to date.

I got my 106 XSi off an old lady. Its only done 40,000 miles, however it cost me £1,400, but its almost like a new car. Quick as you like and easy to drive, it's my first car, but it was so easy to get used to and fun at the same time.
