General Comments

I bought a Crosman 1077 a few months ago, and this is the first time I have had a chance to write some reviews. Well, on receiving my rifle from Uttings, I also got the silencer and some spare mags, which is a must for this rapid fire gun. As has been said you can go through a mag in 2 seconds, or thereabouts, only stopping to change mags and let the CO2 warm up for another amazing burst. The silencer works, which helps with me firing it indoors, and it also keeps her-indoors happy. The power isn't that great, but the rapid fire makes up for that for general target shooting, getting many shoots on top of each other in the bull eye, and the barrel has a release system so that you can move it forward about half an inch to unjam any pellets which get stuck when its low on CO2, and also to clean the barrel. I don't like the plastic bits, ie. the trigger housing and guard, but they seem to be strong enough for the job because I haven't heard of any breaking. The stock is OK, but the Americans seem to have an ability to make real wood look and feel synthetic. But again, with some polishing I can live with that, so, make sure you buy plenty of pellets, because this gun eats them, and also buy a can of polish.

This is the most quiet gun I have ever shot. You wasted money on that silencer.

Where did you get your silencer for the Crosman 1077? Also, how many shots do you get per 12 gram powerlet? Have you tried the 88 gram AirSource kit? Lastly, have you modified the trigger pull? Thanks in advance.
