My daughter had an accident whilst on holiday, and the hotel staff were excellent! They changed her room, organised a wheelchair, and they looked after her every whim. They put the tour operator staff to shame. The resort, the people, just everything about the place is second-to-none. We were very disappointed not to be able to go again this year, and we are now trying to book ready for 2007.
Bad Points
None really. Sometimes the food was slightly cold, but the staff would always cook something new if we wanted it.
General Comments
We have made many friends at the Playa Pasquero in Cuba, and we are really looking forward to going back. The staff are very intelligent (some are teachers and engineers etc.). It is just that the wages are better in the hotel industry. I take AA batteries for my friends, as these cost over $5 each, plus pens and pencils.
Please really enjoy your visit. I have visited and lived in quite a few other countries, and this is best that I have ever been to.
