Good Points

This is a good looking phone - I only decided to get one because of the bad reviews as it seems people want the phone to do everything including making the tea but they are primarily designed for one thing, to make and receive phone calls! It is a great phone if you only realise what it was designed for. Yes it plays mp3s, not a great sound but I would not expect hi-fi quality on a phone. It takes photos and video, again I would not expect SLR or Cam quality, but what it does do is something your camera, MP3 player and kitchen sink cannot do and that is make phone calls.

Bad Points

None that I can find.

General Comments

The Motorola V975 phone is a great design, just a tad larger than the v600. The reception is good in the area that I live, screen quality is excellent and the keypad buttons are well spaced.

All the moans about battery life are unfounded - it states in the manual that you must charge and discharge the battery several times before full capacity is reached anyway why not buy a spare and keep charged, they're only a couple of pounds on eBay.

I would say that it would be a good ideal to buy a case for the phone to keep it in top condition and also help keep its value. I have no problems whatsoever with this phone, especially those stated in previous reviews, so if you can get your hands on one, buy it. And finally, 3 mobile service has greatly improved recently and also if you cannot get full 3 mobile 3G signal, the phone roams to the o2 network, so really it makes the service even better.
