This awesome R129 chassis SL 6 litre v12 certainly turns heads, especially when kitted with the full AMG body styling. This will always be a stunner.
Unfortunately, this car tends to go through petrol like it's going out of fashion, as a daily use car, expect to visit petrol Stations every other day! Lifting off the hard top can be a struggle, along with storing it.
If you want a gorgeous head-turner, that is a bit more 'special' than the standard SL280, 300, 320, or 500 of this generation, the Mercedes Benz SL 600 is a must, and is the Daddy of the fleet! The acceleration of this 2 tone Tessie, is 5.8 seconds, which gives a heck of a punch on kick-down. The sound of the engine is comparable to the growling tones of the TVR...GRRRRR..."Get outta my way"!
