Good Points

Great personalisation features, cool polyphonic tones, can recieve pics from nokia mobiles, small size...

Bad Points

Polyphonic speaker can be abit quiet, no option to turn off greeting or exit sound.

General Comments

I have never had a motorola mobile before and this cool little C330 series phone is awsome. Its extremely small in size and weight, sometimes i even forget its in my own side pocket!

Customising the C333
--------------------
The Polyphonic tones are cool and you can mix your own tone using a special Basetrack/Groovetone. If your not too keen on polyphonics you can use the normal tone composer to make basic monophonic tones.

The downside to polyphonic tones is that they can be too quiet, but it realy depends on where you are. I find that it also depends on what ringtone it is but if you use a monophonic standered tone you should have no problem with hearing it ring.

The graphics is another cool feature, with animated screensavers, pictures and wallpapers you can customise your phone as much as you want. You can view all the graphics you have using the Picture Viewer where they are kept.

This phone has EMS 5.0 (Enhanced Messaging). This is more simpler than MMS (Multimedia Messaging), you can combine a Sound effect, a picture and an animation to create an EMS message (Note, you can only send this type of message to an EMS compatible phone).

The different fascias are unique, with Convertible covers you can change the style and shape. This is the reason why they call this mobile the 'C330 SERIES phone', different shapes have different names, for instance the 'peanut' shaped cover is the motorola C336 and the 'Candybar' looking cover is called the motorola C333.

There is a greeting and exit tone which you cannot turn off, but the tone is kinda cool.

Cool features
--------------
>Lock Application<
Say if you don't want your mates looking through your phonebook or txt messages, all you have to do is enable a lock on the application and everytime you want to go through your phone book or read yonur txt messages you type in a password. You can lock other applications as well.

>Voice Dial<
With this voice dial you can have up to 20 voice tags (which is loads more than the small 8 on most nokia phones).

>Phonebook Catergories<
You can group contacts in your phonebook and set an individual ringtone for each catergory. Sadly you cannot set a caller ID icon for each catergory but you can seperately for each of your contacts.

>Message Centre<
This is where all of your messages(incoming/outgoing) are kept. Instead of having delivery reports everytime you send a message out it is put into the Outbox, from here you can check the status of the message. You can re-send the message later if needed. If you write a txt message but you dont want to send it you can save it in your Drafts folder. You can set each folder to Cleanup when the ammount of messages in the folder reaches a certain amount, you can also custom the number of messages allowed in the folder.

>Games<
There are three games which can be up-graded. These games include one distinctive game, MotoGP. The graphics are great and racing around different tracks will pass the time.

>Initial Setup<
You can, in this menu, change how long the Backlight stays on for, turn animations off (having this on makes the menus scroll smoother), select the contrast and select battery save (this helps conserve battery power, don't ask how).

>Battery Power<
The battery power is OK, alot of people say that the power life isn't good at all but thats not entirely true. If i charge my phone at night it will last the whole of the day and even until the next day. But it really depends if you chatter away 24/7 on your phone.

>Reception and sound quality<
The sound during a call is excellent, the reception is gr8 as well, where ever i go with my mobile i always have reception (except for places where there is no reception at all no matter what mobile you have).
