Good Points

Composed and responsive ride.
Gutsy engine - sounds good - strong linear power
ESP is great, you must get the ESP version, helps you out of some sticky situations calmly.
Subtle styling

Bad Points

Fuel consumption. I admit my first few tanks disappeared as I had a bit of a heavy right foot, but when driven normally MPG isn't too bad.

General Comments

My Ford Focus 2.0 16v Zetec ESP is only .3 seconds slower than an ST170 and costs half to run. Car pulls excellently from standing and on the motorway, it's nice to finally beat those boy racers with loads of torque. I previously had a 1.6 Zetec.
Insurance is quite low and as engine is only 130bhp, its unstressed so you can ensure even if you drive it hard, it'll be fine.
