Good Points
Very few to offer anymore. Useful if you want to understand left-wing bigotry and to compare to the glory days.

Bad Points
To many to mention. A recent headline was "While the UN fiddles... the Middle East burns" fine impartial journalism!

General Comments
The independent was once a fine newspaper with intellegent impartial journalism and backed up with the finest photojournalism in any UK Newspaper. These days it has become a polemical waste of your time. It reads like the Sun newspaper with slightly longer words and an open bias. Perhaps this was a marketing decision in order to appeal to the more "direct-action" among us.
