It's extremely lightweight and compact.
It's fairly accurate up to 120+ yards.
It looks nice (aesthetic)
Easy to lubricate and maintain in general.
Surprisingly easy to cock the barrel.
I have had the Gamo 177.cal gun now for roughly 6 months and it has been one of the best gun's I've owned so far due to its lightweight body and it's easy cocking barrel which i find to be an advantage when shooting live targets.
The gun has never broke or malfunctioned and has ran smoothly since i purchased it in February 2006.
I would highly recommend this gun to anyone looking for a starter rifle as it offers many features and is an easy gun to start up with.
