Good Points

As mentioned in the initial bit, namely, ease of set up and ease of use.
It doesn't get any easier really, download the file to your desktop and run the installation. Job done.


Bad Points

£26.00 I paid. Don't know if that's good, bad or indifferent but who likes parting with money? That's why I've put it in the bad points section.
Didn't get all the spyware on my system.


General Comments

Simple to set up and use and because I had never used this type of program before (I stupidly thought that Norton Internet Security would protect me D'OH!) It took a while to go through all the customizable bits and bobs.
I know sod all about computers so when I was configuring it I simply let the program choose the default settings which worked fantastically upon the first running which found 165 problems!!!!!!! But, left behind 6 problems which Spyware Doctor took care of. It should be noted that Spyware Doctor left behind some baddies also which were sussequently picked up by Spyware Detector.
A good rule of thumb is to have 2 spyware programs running so what one misses the other picks up.
I don't think there is a program out there that can do a complete clean sweep with one program. I could however be wrong.
My spyware got into my system through Internet explorer so I've since moved to Mozzilla Firefox as my browswer choice.

    Thanks + Good Report BUT I had very big problems - Frozen screen, Hanging Pages, Numerous Error Messages and after two tries had to revert to GoBack (Norton).
    I have Norton Internet Security 2007 and Norton Works Basic already installed. Perhaps (I am not certain) that this was the reason for the troubles!
