The restaurant was well presented, and the food was of a high standard and tasted great.
Staff were always available, and they were polite and helpful.
There is a pool for small children with a barrier for safety, and the play area has rubber mats in case of falls.
Internet is available at a small charge.
There was entertainment every night, and twice daily a film was shown in a room with a large projection screen and soft comfortable seats.
Bad Points
No air conditioning.
Staff were a bit slow at the snack bar and pub bar, but not too much to bother people.
Rooms are basic, but spacious.
I had an iPod stolen from the room, so use the safe that is available in the room.
General Comments
I've just had a great holiday at the San Anton Complex in Malta, and for the price I paid, I can not complain. San Anton has plenty to do for all ages. There is a nice safe pool for the under 5's, a play area, a kids club and a television room. The restaurant is of a high standard, offering a good variety. It was well staffed, and the tables are laid very well. You must try different things to appreciate the taste and quality of the food. The veg and chips are not great, but the main dish is usually gorgeous.
The shops are just round the corner, and the sea front is only a 5 minute walk away. Be aware, as there are a few hills and the paths are narrow, uneven, holey and blocked at times.
The rooms have fans, and you can hire more. Rooms are cleaned daily, but they are basic. You will wait to be served at the snack bar and by the drinks waiter, but not for too long.
The Hotel has a nice atmosphere and I would go back. I hope this helps.
