General Comments

I bought the Beeman Silver Bear 1783 air rifle yesterday. It seems to be very good. Better than my old Daisy 880 (except in power). It's a great starter gun, and extremely accurate! I don't know if it can take down birds as they haven't been visiting my yard lately. But it shoots 500+ fps, which means if the Beeman SS500 1026 is a black new version of this gun, then it too is capable of shooting up to 960 fps. This gun also looks very, very nice. I would recommend it as a starter gun, but not for hunting anything bigger than a squirrel. The scope comes sighted in, but you still need to tweak it a bit. Mine was shooting 2 inches down and 1 inch to the right.

I hope this review helps. Please leave feedback!
