Good Points

nice showroom, plenty of reasonable priced cars.

unhelpful, untrained staff, untrustworthy and dishonest


General Comments

I bought renault scenic from Aberdeen Ford North. The car is due to go back in for the third time to fix the same 5 outstanding issues that I pointed out days after picking up vehicle. I followed Arnold's complaints procedure and the sales manager who sold me car passed me onto service manager, who then passed me on to one of his staff who knew nothing about the issues i was having. I then spoke to the general manager who was more defensive than helpful. I paid over £6000 for a car that has never worked properly and I've never had one single apology from anyone at Arnold's. I tried pointing out that this was a specific family car and two major safety issues should have been corrected prior to pick up. The brakes are not working properly and windscreen seal is not secure. Once arnold has your money there is no interest in after sales service. Promises delivered, you must be joking!

    i think you'll find that Trading Standards will be very helpful with this issue, it won't be the first time they've had to deal with Arnold Clarks.
