Good Points

Brilliant staff, mixture of British and Spanish. All speak English and go out of their way to be helpful and friendly.
By far the cheapest drinks in the area.
Fifty metres from a beautiful beach.
Only a ten minute taxi ride from Reus airport.
Very informal and easy going atmosphere.
Good evening entertainment (British style).
Easy access to Salou and Cambrils port. Cambrils is lovely.
We hired a car, and the area inland from the coast is full of history. The Ebro delta is only 45 minutes away and it is beautiful.
Both Tarragona and Barcelona are not far away, and they are tremendous cities.
The hotel is under new ownership and they really appear to be trying.
There is a giant TV screen in the bar. Great for when the football season starts.


Bad Points

Quite basic, but it is only two star after all.
Air conditioning would be good, but we hired a fan and it was comfortable enough.
There is a busy road between the hotel and the beach.


General Comments

We have booked to go to the Esmerelda Apartments on the Costa Dorada for the middle of September. It is cheap accommodation, and also cheap Ryanair flight.

Definitely very good value for money.
