A highly accurate FAC rated air rifle. Uses a ten shot rotary magazine. Available in right and left handed versions. Has a shrouded barrel and is very quiet for a rifle of this power. Balances well in the hand when being carried and is not heavy.
I can't think of any! Some may say that 35 shots at full power is not enough but I have never used more than 30 shots when hunting.
Air Arms S410 Xtra FAC .22 - I have owned this rifle from new for a year. As I am left handed the dealer ordered a left handed version for me which was manufactured by Air Arms and delivered to the dealer in only a week.
The rifle has a knurled knob enabling the power to be reduced and so increasing the number of shots on a single charge. I have never used this feature and so cannot comment on it.
I have only used Air Arms Field Pellets and they have offered predictable results with this rifle which is zeroed at 50 yards. At this range it will enable pellets to be consistently placed in a 10p sized circle. It will give sufficient penetration for a single shot headshot kill (rabbit) at up to 80 yards.
It will easily kill pheasant, hare, rabbit, pigeon if you can shoot accurately.
It is important to make sure you have a good backstop with this rifle and often the pellet will pass straight through your target.
Highly recommended. Safe shooting.
