Good Points

Still a modern design that takes all the EOS range of lenses and flash's.
5 selectable focus points, solid body and fast motordrive.

Bad Points

Heavy and expensive add-ons.
No built in flash and superseded by the digital cameras.

General Comments

This Canon EOS 1N 35mm SLR Camera and also the EOS1 can now be brought very cheaply in pro terms.
For the price of a new budget canon EOS camera and cheap zoom, you can buy a EOS 1n in excellent condition.
It has 5 focusing points, fast autofocus and motordrive perfect for sports and photo-journalism.
The flash metering works on the area of the three central focusing points, not just the central point as other makes do.
It has the same basic body shape as the pro digital Canons and can match them in photographic quality, only using film.
If you do drop or bounce it just dust it off and start shooting again.
Can take all lenses, flash's and add ons from the huge EOS range.
Canon is still making film cameras unlike other pro companies.
