Brilliant with kids. Very witty animals with some strange quirks at times. Always loyal and as my own gets older it is becoming more and more obedient.
Bad Points
Very few... Biggest problem is stripping especially if it is like ours, which finds it uncomfortable and want sit still. Also can go 'deaf' on occasion - like all terriers, I am lead to believe.
General Comments
If you have got a young family but want a dog to complete it, then the Border Terrier is the choice. They will play and fight with the kids (sometimes mine thinks he is one of them). They are very astute and attentive and always good natured.
If mine is anything to go by they are just a wonderful family pet.
