Pegasos's Review of Daisy Powerline 15XT

Good Points

This Daisy little air pistol is a nice piece of work, I admit that. It is powerfull and basically precise. A nice piece of work for the money its worth, of course.

Bad Points

A few times, after I shot the first 50 steel thingies or so, I loaded it with 15 thingies and then when I pulled the trigger, the pistol jammed half-way to the trigger being fully pulled. Then I released the finger and pulled again and the shot was made, then from the 14th steel thingie onwards no problem. I'm not sure why this happened, it didn't happen again though.

General Comments

Why is the Daisy Powerline 15xt pistol anywhere I have seen it, portrayed with three or more holes in its trigger? I have noticed that the plastic the trigger is made of, has some round shapes, but in the actual pictures it appears with the carvings as actual holes. How are these holes made? It there a purpose in making them?

One more question: is it ok to use copperhead bbs with the Daisy 15XT? Nowhere in the manual was mentioned anything about copperhead bbs, neither allowing their use with the 15XT nor forbiding their use with it.

if the bb says this on its package: .177 (4.5mm) Steel Airgun shot, you can fire it. And so yes, you can use copperhead bb's, actually to my opinion they work better than regular steel bbs. And the holes in the trigger are for looks, its modeled after a real gun, the Colt. 45 Commander, which i have, and the holes in the trigger are just to make it look more mean. I hope this helped answer some questions. Peace out, and Git-R-Done.

Thanks a lot man, you really helped. Although i'm not sure i understand the meaning of the phrase 'Git - R - Done'. Here's another question for you then! Regards

  • Gitrdoneboy22 Rank: 2nd Lieutenant on 10th Aug 2006

Git-R-Done means just to get something done, whether it be working hard, catching fish, or hunting. I usually say it out of the blue for no reason lol, so forgive me!

Oh i get it, so it means 'be effective'....i'm sure try to!

Actually when i first read it i thought it meant something like 039;git-r-done='get-her-done' with some kind or sexual implication or something lol!!! Anyway, see ya and thanks again

Can you use lead balls in it?
