Powerful right out of the box
Very versitle
Reliable, even with the plastic parts
Accurate
Few
Crosman 2240 - I like this pistol. Right out of the box it's accurate, powerful enough for bushy tails, birds, rats, etc. I've never had any trouble with a stock pistol. But...as noted by Raven2250 there are numerous mods you can make or have made. Sights exist where you can order various types, styles of wood grips. You can get accuracy mods, power mods, if that is what you're looking for.
While you don't want to use this gun for general hunting right out of the box it is a good target plinker and can be upgraded in mulitple ways.
I realy enjoy mine and mostly I shoot the caps on plastic bottles, break clay discs, or just punch holes in cans.
