This is one of my favourite harry potter books. The story as with the rest of the books takes place over a school year. The story is well told and incorporates the right amount of detail, describing the fantastic creatures and circumstances in the book.
Nooo! My favourite character dies... but I'm not going to spoil it! Well that's the only problem I had with the book, it is an engrossing read.
All of the usual characters are in the book and we are introduced to a few new ones, the events that take place are engrossing and a relationship moves forward only to fall at the first hurdle. An engrossing read and one I recommend.
