Good Points
Caters for novices and experts.
Clear photos.
Some very in-depth articles.
Showcases new models from home and abroad.
Fairly balanced between figures and vehicles.
Good reviews of modelling products.
A well established mag, for many years.
Bad Points
Not many although there has been a tendency lately to give quite a bit of space to the 12 inch action man type figures.
There is sometimes a bit of a bias towards vehicles, but you might not agree if you model tanks for a hobby.
General Comments
I think Military Modelling is an excellent magazine. I have every copy since 1973. How sad is that? It is very informative. It provides information on modelling shows and exhibitions. If you decide to buy regularly by taking out a subscription, you can save some money. There are no toy soldiers or aircraft featured, as they already have magazines devoted to them.
