Good Points

The Minoa & Minoa Sun in Malia are good apartments. Malia has good night life, with a lot of different music. The bars in Malia are nice too, and there are some friendly staff out there. There's loads of choice in what type of food you want as well. There is the food you may get back home, and also a lot of Greek dishes. If you ever get bored of the party scene, it's just a 10 minute walk into Stalis where there are quieter pubs and bars.

The water park was probably the best day out, but it was better to book with one of the shops in town rather then with the rep as it was cheaper, and you get to stay there for longer.


Bad Points

The worst points things about Malia would have to be all the quads and scooters on the streets. You have to be careful as people try to run you over all the time, and people even drive them when they are drunk. There are also a lot of ambulances around! Also, some of the lads over there shout abuse at you if you don't do what they want, but there are a lot of nice people to meet out there, as I found out.


General Comments

There are more lads there than there are girls, so it's also safer to walk round in at least two's.

I found the best bar to go to was Yaisou! This was near the crossroads. Every time I went in, there were lots of friendly people and a lively atmosphere. I also liked to start at Zoo Bar. It was the trendiest looking place, and it was a good place to start as you could sit down and have a chat.

I'm not sure if I would ever decide to go back to Malia, but if I did I would probably want to stay in the Mirage Apartments, as they were more spacious and they looked a lot cleaner then the Minoa Sun.
