In my case, my dog has had over £4,000 of vet and specialist fees, so I was glad to have The Kennel Club pet insurance policy. It is a lot more per year than other policies, and I'm not sure there is any advantage, but I have always had good service when I have telephoned and you can download claim forms from the web.
