Good Points

Very quick off mark, small and comfortable on small journeys, eye catching, a full range of various and bright colours, has leather seats, subtle car.

Bad Points

Gearboxes are very weak (they are the same gearbox that is in a 1.1 Peugeot 106). Uncomfortable seating on long journeys over 2 hrs, flimsy interior, requires a service every 5000 miles to maintain correctly. Expensive insurance!

General Comments

Having owned two of the Peugeot 106 GTi's, this is a very quick car and is the epitome of style. Various mods can be done to achieve an even quicker car for little money in comparison to others. A must have!! Forget the quicksilver/VTR, go for the GTI always. Even by today's standards (the foundations of the car is over 15 years old) it still outshines the newer cars, even the 206. Handling is superb even being on same level as a Porsche Boxster!! Oozes style!
