bondjuk's Review of Natwest Current Account
18th Jul 2006
Overall Rating
- Customer Service

- Ease of use

The e-banking is quite convenient and simple, but it is at other banks.
Bad Points
Some of the staff are rude on the phone (this started recently).
Their interest rates are low compared to other banks.
They are slow in processing some transfers, which can cost you.
General Comments
I always pay my credit card in full. I made a payment on 7th July which was processed on 12th July, but I was charged for late payment on 11th July (though my NatWest account was debited on 10th July). I complained but I got a rude response. Since I didn't pay the whole sum out, because of the charge they made (I just realized that), I am basically still paying interest on whatever I purchased since. They are not that good with their interest rates. I was with them just because I believed that I was banking with a friendly bank. Now that I realized that it was not so, I will close all my business with them for good.
