Moderately powerfull and accurate for its price range. Easy to handle and good safety features. Nice looking.
Overall construction seems a bit light and somewhat delicate.
I priced and compared several makes and models of air rifles from several manufacturers. The 7856 is an excellant value for the money. ($34.00, purchased at WalMart store, Dec.2002) I practice target shooting at regulation paper targets at 25 feet distance in my basement. Rifle accuracy is good after 3 adjustments to the 4x15 scope for elevation and windage. Majority of shots grouped in the bullseye, with an occasional stray shot, but still withing the target circle. I plan to use the rifle this fall for squirrel hunting, and anticipate no problems getting clean kills providing my accuracy is on a clean head shot. I recommend Daisy products as being good values.
