Extremely spacious.
Large central area, which is very good for children.
Useful side door in the porch.
Useful rear door in the "back bedroom" compartment.
Dome structure means water runs off the flysheet very easily.
Difficult to erect, and even more difficult to get in the right position. We didn't get it quite right on the one occasion we have used the tent so far, and this led to certain problems. Firstly, the two longest central poles seemed to have a tendency to fall backwards, meaning the overall shape was distorted. Like some other users, I also found that the rear part of the sewn-in groundsheet was off the ground when the tent was erected. And parts of the inner were touching the fly at the front of the main living area, which resulted in a very small amount of water finding its way through. I am assuming all this was down to us though, rather than any inherent design faults. At least I certainly hope so.
I have only used the Vango Diablo 900 tent once, and it took my wife and I two hours to get it up. I am assuming it will get easier with practice, although I agree with the reviewer who said it would be virtually impossible to put up in the wind. Once it is up though, there's no doubt it's a very fine family tent. My little boy, who is two, certainly loved it!
