Good Points

Great accuracy, rock-solid craftsmanship, great looks (in a utilitarian sort of way)

Bad Points

Poor instructions, spartan packaging, horrible grips (out of the box), a little muzzle heavy

General Comments

I just got my IZH-46M this week and I love it! My Izzy was a great re-introduction to airguns (I hadn't shot an air gun in something like 25 years, however I have been an avid handgun competitor). The accuracy of the Izzy is remarkable for the price. After using Mr. Dremel on the grip, I've been producing nice quarter-sized 5 shot groups using a table (no rest or sandbag, just a table in my backyard). The trigger is extremely light out of the box, which is a stark difference from my Glocks, but I'm starting to get used to it.

Some may think it's an ugly pistol, but I rather like the utilitarian look. I think it is quite a serious looking air pistol!

On the downside, you'd be in trouble if you didn't have access to a Dremel. Those grips are the worst out of the box! I think they're designed to be trimmed to the user's liking, but did they have to be that bad to start with? I mean, there's no way you could shoot that thing accurately without trimming the grip! Also, the pistol is muzzle heavy, but trimming the grip did help me get control of the pistol.

Overall, it is an awesome pistol at an extremely attractive price. Get one before they raise their prices!
