The features of the mp3 are very good, they include favourite 100 songs, based on how often you listen to each song, which enables you to play through them without the need to change track. The battery lasts a very long time, it can even last a further half hour when the battery level reaches low and starts flashing. It is also very easy to use with good quality of sound. The connect software has a very large database which can supply track names for virtually all CD's.
The supplied connect player software is the only let down, as it runs very slow and it is complicated to use. I have had problems where it has crashed the computer and lost the data on the mp3, which I have then had to load back on later. It is also expensive to download music through the software.
The Sony NW-A1000 is an excellant mp3 with very good features and easy to use. The only let down is the connect player software.
