General Comments

I have just found out, after about 10 months of queries that N Power have been charging based on an incorrect meter type. They have now re-billed me for the gas used over the last 12 months (October 2004 to October 2005), which I though I'd already paid for. It's almost as much again as I had already paid. I've always given accurate readings and made sure the account is in credit each quarter, and I've challenged this error, but despite it not being my fault I will have to pay. They have made a small reduction, but I don't see why I should have to pay for someone else's mistake. On top of that, I've had to increase my monthly payments by 175% to cover the correct cost. Whilst that figure is a true reflection of my usage, when your household budget is based on one figure and suddenly it goes up this amount, it's still an increase. N Power have been very unhelpful, and Energy Watch have been a waste of space. I'm left with a large debt through no fault of my own.
