Good Points

No fiddling around with discs or tapes - records on to hard drive.
Compact, lightweight and very easy to use.
Variable picture quality according to how long you want to record for.


Bad Points

Found difficulty downloading onto computer and writing to disc. Maybe I'm not very technically minded, as my son had no problem.
The battery provided only lasts for an hour, but larger batteries are available at an extra charge.


General Comments

The JVC Everio GZ-MG20EK digital camcorder is so easy to use, even a child could operate it! I wanted a very straightforward, easy to use compact camcorder that did not run out of tape or disc space to record a wedding without interruption. The battery provided only lasts just over an hour, so I purchased a larger one to get over two hours uninterrupted recording. I was very pleased with the results. Although I must say, I could not work out how to save it on computer or edit it to disc, so I sought the help of my technically minded son who had no problem!

Overall, I am very pleased with this camcorder. Although if I can ever work out how to save what I have filmed onto computer and disc I would be extremely pleased! In the meantime I will just have to rely on my son! But, I can do many hours of filming before I need his help. I am so glad I purchased this one!
