bububuo's Review of Katy Coope, How to Draw Manga: A Step-by-Step Guide

- Value for money

Katy Coope's general idea for the How to Draw Manga: A Step-by-Step Guide book somewhat had to do with "style". And usually the anatomy was off, and everything looked horrible. I can't believe this was even published. Artists are not perfectionists, but they at least have some good knowledge about what they're doing, and how they're doing as an artist. She should also be thinking more deeply about whether to publish this rubbish and teaching little children to draw badly. It seemed more focused on style than it was proportional wise. The eyes were too big, the neck too thin, the blush looks as if the character got scrapped with all the lines! I really do not recommend Manga artists buy this Anime-wannabe book. I'm sorry to say, but this is my view about this book.
