In reference to the previous review, I would like to defend Halifax Estate Agents, as I work for them.

The average branch carries out 10-15 viewings per member of staff, per day. That generates a strict viewing timetable that must be maintained. For example, if a viewer is 15 minutes late and I wait for them, I will be late for my next appointment with the next client.

Viewers who are repeatedly late are not blacklisted. However, any member of staff is likely to excersise some caution when dealing with that viewer.

Lastly, Estate Agents act on the vendors behalf. We do not make money from viewers, and you are not the consumer in the Agents eyes. Generally viewers who turn up late and mess Agents around are usually the most likely to make a chain fall through later on.

My advice is to plan your journey well in advance if you do not know the area. If you need to push the appointment a bit later in the day, ring in advance.

We are not servants to wait upon viewers demands as we have a very busy workload we must get through every day.

As for staff being rude, this is obviously unaccpetable, but take into consideration you were late the first time, then cancelled the next time.
