Good quality materials used, easy to use & great fun to shoot with.
None if you follow the guidelines.
I recently purchased an Anics A3000 F1, was very impressed with it when I opened the plastic case it came in. It is made of a very good quality polymer plastic for the frame and metal for the slide. The pistol has a 28 pellet magazine capacity that makes it stand out from the competition.
I still have to measure the velocity of the pistol, but the manufacturer rates it at approximately 500 - 620 fps, which is close to rifle velocity! The grip really falls great into ones hand is very comfortable to hold. Loading the magazine involves the use of the supplied loading tool to load each pellet into its individual roller. Putting some gun oil onto the rollers inside the magazine helps the rollers to roll more freely inside the magazine.
The co2 canister is loaded very easily into the grip of the pistol, simply slide a new co2 canister into the grip, close the cover until it locks into place, turn the knob until it is firmly seated against the bottom of the co2 canister - then finally close the flap that will push the co2 canister the final millimeters to puncture the top of the co2 canister. You will get virtually no loss of co2. It is recommended that you put some gun oil on the tip of each co2 canister just before placing it into the pistol, this will help to prolong the life of the seal inside the pistol that the co2 canister seats against when loaded.
The first thing that needs to be done when you get your gun is to set the rear sight properly, it has vertical and horizontal adjustment, when sighted correctly this pistol is very accurate at 5 meters.
I only had my pistol for one day when I decided that the barrel is to long and I would much rather have a pistol with a shorter barrel, so I shortened the barrel to 5" which makes the tip of the barrel flush with the front of the pistol. The fact that it now has a much shorter barrel doesn't make it less accurate or less powerful.
I have used different lead pellets with this pistol and haven't had any problems with the gun jamming. The only thing to remember is that you have to push the pellets into the rollers far enough otherwise they will come loose inside the roller and cause the pistol to jam. Here is a list of pellets that I have used with this pistol as well as some info on how to load each of them:
Gamo Pro-Hunter: This is a very nice pellet to use and it has a rounded nose, it is very accurate and gives a good grouping. The pellet must be loaded so that the back of the pellet aligns with the back of the roller, you can be assured of no jamming problems when loaded correctly.
Gamo TS-10: Another fine pellet it looks much like the Gamo Pro-Hunter but it has more of a pointed nose, just like the Gamo Pro-Hunter it is accurate and gives good grouping. They must be loaded the same way as the Gamo Pro-Hunter.
Gamo Match: I haven't used this pellet that much because I prefer the Gamo Pro-Hunter, it has a flat nose and is more suited for target practice. This pellet is also a little bit smaller in diameter than that of the Gamo Pro-Hunter and Gamo TS-10, for that reason you have to load it so that the pellet is in the center of the roller. If not loaded correctly this pellet will come loose and cause the pistol to jam.
Skenco Type 2: I really love the look of this pellet with its plastic jacket and metal pointed tip. This pellet was designed for rifles and pistols that have a magazine hence they are much shorter and lighter than the other Skenco pellets. They work great in the Anics A3000 and I haven't had any problems with the pellet causing the pistol to jam. This pellet is a little bit bigger in diameter than a normal lead pellet and for that reason they have to be loaded different than a lead pellet. These pellets have to be inserted into the rollers from the front of the magazine and not the rear, the reason for that is obvious - the front of the roller has a bigger diameter than the rear. These pellets will take more time to load since you can only load one at a time instead of four like with the lead pellets. (the opening in the front of the magazine is only long enough to expose one roller at a time) Loading the pellets is very easy, just push the pellet into the roller with your finger (they may feel stiff, or you may think they cannot go in at first) as far as you can then push it further with the pellet loading tool until the tip of the pellet aligns with the front of the roller, don't push the pellet in too far since it may cause the pellet to get stuck inside the roller and cause it not to fire. Again when loaded correctly this pellet will not cause any problems.
If you follow the guidelines that I have set out above you should not have any problems when using this pistol, just follow the guidelines and you will enjoy shooting with and using this pistol.
