To anyone who is thinking of buying a T200 please read my review

-----------------------------------------
I bought the T200 after selling my t65 around the last weeks of december 2002, i went for it cos of the blue light which is a craze down here in Sri Lanka anyways i bought it for a round $140 and during the first few weeks of using it i found that it lacked some features of the t65 mostly the superb phone book which was on the t65 but anyways it was later on that i noticed problems with signal strngth where my friends with 3310 had full signals i would only have about half and the battry was not able to standby for even 2 days therefore i got in replaced as it was within the warrenty period but i still feel that the signal reception in this is not quite up to standerd and the battery life is still only 2 days or less also the fact that the back light is too bright is a case for concern where it is difficult for the eyes if you are using it in really dark places.

For anyone who is thinking of going for a T200 it is a SOLID PHONE(Really Good Build casing etc) but it lacks many features and there are many bugs which sony ericsson should look into. I recomend you go for some other phone rather than buying a t200.

I think the reason why your stand-by lasts only 2 days is because your back light is set to "on" which illuminates the screen even when not needed. Therefore I recommend that you set your light to "auto" and you'll see stand-by time lasting up to 7 days! My GF had the same problem! Please read the manual ok?

    Hi Hemantha,
This review has really helped me, I had got similar feedbacks, even the dealers told me to go in for the T-100 than T-200. Your review just seems to cement my thoughts. Thanks
