Overall the Daisy Winchester 500x is a great gun. This is my first pellet rifle and I love it. Even though this is my first that is mine I have fired many and this is by far the best. We took it out to my family reunion and drove a little bit out of the way so we could shoot it. From about 25 feet away we were always hitting 12 gauge shotgun shells that we found there. I also found a pencil there and my 14 or 15 year old cousin, who had never fired a gun before hit it with her first try. I shot a railway tie from about a foot away and penetrated it about 3 inches. With the gun, some crossman pellets and a trigger lock, it cost me about $180.00 Canadian and is as powerful as they can get in Canada without being registered.
