Good Points

Excellent zoom facility.
Very easy to use, and it even has a video camera and lots of settings for which ever photo you are taking.


Bad Points

Batteries do not last very long, but if you are using rechargeable batteries this is not really a problem with having to pay out more money!
No case!


General Comments

We bought the Samsung Digimax A7 digital camera from Argos a couple of months ago for £149.99 (on sale from £165.99, and then when we returned from holiday it was down to £115.99, but as it was such a good buy in the first place we really didn't mind). We have been extremely pleased with it. We bought it for our holiday this year, as we thought it would be an ideal way to capture everything in the best quality!

The image quality is ace! 7.0 mega-pixels really is so clear! The camera has lots of settings to choose from, from normal photo taking to close up, and even sunset. You can zoom in really closely, and the picture is in no way distorted.

In the box you get the camera, a quick start guide, 2 Duracell batteries and a wrist strap, but no case! But you can buy a case for as little as £5, so it is not really a huge problem!

The video camera facility is good too. It is perfect for catching those special moments when your partner is dragged on stage by the entertainers on holiday and made to do a silly dance!! lol! Also in the box is a software package, which is brilliant for using with this camera. You can view every photo in one block at a decent size so you don't have to open every one if you don't want to!

All in all this camera is brilliant! I would recommend it. We read reviews and researched every camera that was out at the time, and this one came out on tops!

    I have the Samsung Digimax A7 digital camera. If you use rechargeable batteries; I've taken 200+ flash photo's without changing batteries. The review is very good, and it is a great camera that I would recommend to anyone, but it seems Argos have dropped it from there recent catalogue.
