Good Points

Like the sleek look, the removeable silverware basket and the quietness.


Bad Points

4 service calls in 6 months


General Comments

I have had 4 service calls since Dec 05 installation.
1. 1 week after install, computer board burned up. Bosch wanted to replace but said it would take 1 month to get a computer board. Sears (after much hassle) replaced 1 week later.

2. Tub wouldn't fill, service from Sears repaired.

3. 5/30/05 -Tub wouldn't fill, called Bosch - was told to call Sears, no other help offered. Sears came out, needed new part, but wouldn't schedule until we had the part, Gor part 6/05, couldn't get them out that day, but had to wait until we returned from vacation.

4. JUNE 30. Tub won't fill, and now a burning plastic smell is coming from the dishwasher. Sears said they could send someone out July 3rd. we'll see what happens

    Sears Tech came out on Monday July 3rd. When I asked him to unplug the d/w he told me nothing to worry about. In his 21 years of experience, he'd only seen one fire, and bless those poor old people in the high rise apartment... However, in his story telling, he didn't order the parts necessary to repair them. It now stands that I will need another tech to come out on Thursday, and parts will be emergency ordered. God help this country if this is an indication of how consumers are treated. Sorry to say, customer service, an indicater of polite society, is sadly lacking in many areas.
