This Crosman Ratcatcher like the 2260 is the best for what it is. This light rifle is really in a class by itself as far as "out of the box" carbines go. It's the same basic action etc. as the 2240 but with a tough shoulder stock and a longer barrel (so why buy a 2240 and add a shoulder stock and longer barrel?).
When I got this I put on an inexpensive Gamo scope and sighted it in at 20 yards. This thing lays the pellets into the ten ring time after time. You can put pellets through the same hole in you take your time, and you can do this for a lot of shots. Neither will you have to rezero the scope if you don't throw the thing around.
Buying this gun you're getting a great value, I love it, not quite as much as my 2260 as far as CO2 guns go, but it is well worth what it
