The Bank of America website uses three authentication factors. Once you mess one up, heaven help you get back online. I have spent a whole afternoon trying to restore service, with two trips to my local bank. Their tech support people just have you repeat the same sequence again and again. It doesn't work, and they have you do it again. You ask then to escalate and they refuse. The online banking is hard to use when it works, and when there's a problem it's a nightmare. And their tech support is the worst I've seen.

I recommend that you use Citibank instead. They have GREAT ATM;s, and they are very easy to use, and their online banking has won prizes for ease of use. I've used it a lot, and I agree with all the awards it's had.

I have no affiliation with either bank (other than owning 100 shares with Citibank). I just wanted to share this frustrating experience and help others avoid it.
