Good Points

It makes small quantities of dressing very easily; squashing garlic, cracking peppers, crushing mustard seeds and mixing the oil and vinegar all in one series of moves (but not all at once).
It even makes very small quantities of Pesto.
You could use the movement of the ball inside to predict earthquakes.


Bad Points

You can not do big (4 adult) quantities of vinegarette.
You can not put everything in at once.
It will leak very messily if you do not screw it up carefully.


General Comments

Overall, it does not do absolutely everything it says on the tin (or box), but it does make small (2 or 3 people) quantities of dressing very quickly and very cleanly.

I will keep this gadget, but I have also kept my mortar & pestle!
