bull's Review of Falcon Prairie PF 18 MP

Overall Rating
- Value for money

- Handling

- Accuracy

Light, easily the most ergonomic gun I've owned, aestheticaly pleasing, beautifully finished, excellently engineered, very, very accurate.
Bad Points
It takes a while to get used to reloading the magazines, would prefer the safety on the other side of the stock, can`t find an adaptor to fit a quieter silencer i.e.WH,Logun etc.
General Comments
This Falcon Prairie PF 18 MP is easily the best handling gun I have owned, having owned an AAs410 and a Daystate Mk3, it comes into the shoulder comfortably in any of the shooting positions.
I think this gun is an excellent hunting tool and consider it accurate enough to give either of my previous guns a run for their money in a shooting competition.
The trigger has infinite adjustment, the only downside being you need to remove the stock to do it. It can be adjusted for tilt as well.
I believe the moderator could do its job better, there are better out there but you can't fit them because you need an adaptor to fit any new modreator to the barrel, I have looked everywhere, asked everybody but with no luck.
It can be a little bit fiddly to reload the mags but this is overcome with familiarity. Unlike my AAs410 and Daystate I`ve NEVER had a magazine feed problem, for anybody who has or does own one of these rifles they`d know what I`m on about.
I get 50 shots out of my 177 carbine length rifle which is more than enough for any hunting foray or HFT course. After owning a Daystate I consider this rifle to be the equal of the Daystate finish wise, with deep blueing and excellent engineering.
I`m surprised there are not more about, I believe this gun to be the best kept secret in the airgun world. I believe if you're after a quality airgun at an excellent price you`d not go wrong with a Prairie Falcon 18 profile.
Incidentaly this rifle comes with the moderator and 2, 8 shot mags.

I found this article very helpful, as I am currently in the process of buying the Falcon Prairie air rifle after a while of testing it! It is a wonderful air rifle! Can anyone add any more or shed some more well deserved light on this awesome weapon?
