The newspaper offer gave us a cheap place to stay.
Lots of things to do.
The staff were very uninterested. We actually found a shard of glass in our room, and the staff did come and clean up after we complained, but they seemed more annoyed that we dare complain then apologetic for it being there.
The fact that we had to pay, especially for an entertainment pass on top of our accommodation looked like a great idea, except it didn't include a lot of the things to do, and the ones they did cover seemed to be open 10-12 and 2-4, and for this reason they were busy at this time.
I felt that we would be having a cheap weekend away at Butlins in Skegness, but unless you take your own things to do and your own food to cook, you will be paying out a lot of money each day. A couple of kids can go through literally 10's of pounds a day in the arcades, and activities and the food, though not unreasonable, really adds up.
