General Comments

The Chase Bank Perfect Credit Card is the worst credit card I have ever had, and I will never have one again! Myself and my wife have been with Chase Bank for over nine years. While I was deployed in Iraq, my wife ran up some big bills. When I returned I took out a $20,000.00 loan at 3.9% for the life of the loan. Chase had always the right to take money from my account. Two months later they called me and said I was late!? How can I be late? They have made monthly withdrawals from my account. I paid that day and I thought nothing more about it. About seven months later, I looked at a billing from Chase and they had been charging me 12,9% the entire time. I called and they said since I didn't pay my bill on time, they had the right to charge me 12.9%. I notified another bank about paying off Chase and doing business with them. They notified Chase that they had made a mistake and that we should not be charged any late charges because it was their fault that the transfer wasn't done on time. Chase said I would have to pay a $39.00 charge and that would be all. We said OK, but four days later we called to make sure it was paid off and to see if we owed any more money. They charged me another $200.00 in late charges and told me our billing was never the correct amount.

I will pay the amount off, but I totally intend to write to the Fort Hood Newspaper, the Killeen newspaper, and the Army times and let the military know how Chase is treating their military personnel.
