Good Points

Small, lightweight phone with very good battery life and the capability of holding a large number of messages.

Bad Points

Message composition very slow, poor display, fiddly low quality buttons, poor reception, photo quality poor, Sony Ericsson repair problem (see review).

General Comments

I like most people was initially very happy with this phone. It was one of the first colour phones available and I was looking forward to having a phone I liked using. Unfortunately it is now 10 months later and the phone is lucky to still be in existance and not thrown out of a moving vehicle.

Trying to compose sms messages is almost impossible with the stupidly small buttons and low quality joystick. The phone is also so incredibly slow I have often finished keying in letters and the phone is four words behind me. This was fine in the begining but is now a major source of frustration.

The display was alright when the phone was first bought but most models now have much higher quality screens which makes the T68 look cheap and nasty.

This phone has also been sent to Sony Ericsson numerous times for repair due to the number 8 key and joystick failing to work properly. When recieved back again I find the phone has been cleaned. This is aparently their solution to the problem, or in fact would be if it actually were a solution. The phone has never actually been fixed, i only tired of sending it for repair.

On the surface this looks like a great phone and has many impressive features. these features however mean nothing when basic phone function is very poor. As an electronic calendar this is a great piece of equipment, as a phone this is a very expensive paper weight.
