The plane was dirty and rattled for the whole journey.
General Comments
Our Fly Nordic flight to Crete was due to take off at 0905, and at 0830 we were told there would be an indefinite delay and further information at 1000. This then went to 1400 hours and then 2000 hours. It transpired that they had to send to Copenhagen for a new battery, which was flown to Heathrow and then driven to Stansted. The wrong part was sent, and so a further day was announced, until 0230 hours the next day. We were then bused to Gatwick where we eventually took off at 0500, some 20 hours later. The plane, having been fixed at Stansted, then flew to meet us at Gatwick!!
We will never fly with such a tin pot airline again. The plane was old and dirty, and the food was poor. We could have paid a lot less to fly with BA from Gatwick, which we will be doing in future. Nordic Airlines 'NA' now stands for 'Never Again'.
